Police on Saturday recovered the decapitated body of a youth from the Kalinjor jungle in Sarlahi.
The body was found some 25 metres from the East-West highway, inside the Lalbandi Municipality-based jungle on Saturday evening, said Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi.
The discovery came two days after a severed head was found under a bridge, 7kms from the jungle, in Lakhandehi of Hariban-4 early on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Abhishek Raj, alias Golu, an Indian national who had come to Nepal on August 5 with four of his friends.
Search for the quartet, who have been absconding since the incident, is underway. The police suspect their involvement in the crime.
All five individuals are convicted criminals, charged with murder among other crimes, wanted by the Indian police, Subedi added. Indian police were on a hunt for Golu who was absconding after committing murder a few days ago, said Subedi.
While preparations are underway to send the body to the Province Hospital in Malangawa for postmortem, the severed head was sent to the Capital last week.
