The exhibition ‘Beyond Boundaries’ featuring works by artist Subash Acharya, opened its doors on January 25 at the HeLai Art Gallery in Uster, Switzerland. Presented by the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Himchuli Association, the exhibition will run till February 2.
The 19 paintings on display are all inspired by vedic and tantric philosophy. The artworks showcase Acharya’s poignant reflections on the human experience.
Arriving in Switzerland for the occasion, Acharya expressed his enthusiasm for sharing the art he crafted during the challenging times of the Covid lockdown. He encourages attendees to contemplate and liberate themselves from the shackles of fear, uncertainty and material attachment.
Acharya also stated that he will actively engage with the audience through presentations and workshops on Nepali art until February 2. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the creative process and the profound meanings behind each masterpiece.
