RUKUM WEST: Two policemen sustained injuries in an attack by some unruly youths in ward 3 of Banphikot Rural Municipality in Rukum West on Sunday evening.

According to the District Police Office, police constable Mahendra Bahadur Shahi and Himraj Khadka, who are posted in the Area Police Office in Banphikot, were injured in the incident.

The security personnel reached near Syarpu lake after they were informed that two groups of youths fought there.

The injured were rushed to Nepalgunj for treatment.

Search is on to nab the assailants involved in the incident, said police.
